EN: It’s been a while since my last post, and maybe sometimes breaks bring good things at the end:)!

My last trip was different from the rest of the holidays because of the meaning and the impact that this event has around the globe. I participated for my first time in my life to WORLD CUP!  I have to say that I don’t know so many things about the king sport, especially technical terms or even the players’ names, but I enjoyed so much being there. I hope I can express in words and pictures the feeling and the atmosphere that surrounds the city of Rostov on Don.

This post will be exclusive about football, supporters, and beer :))!!!!

Sper sa pot exprima in cuvinte, poze sentimentele si atmosfera care a a inconjurat orasul Rostov on Dom.

EN: All the roads go to the Fan Zone where we find football fans from all different parts of the World! The people who make a distinguished figure there on our first day were the Mexicans and their sombreros! Being a Sunday and the Russians weren’t at work, they also enjoy football and fun. From kids to old persons everybody was there and have a good time, they took pictures with everybody and cheers up all the fans even they lost or win!

We went to see Iceland – Croatia and to support Iceland! Those who read the old posts will know that I have a strong connection with Iceland; the blog’s roots belong to this country. With the game’s approaching, the Icelandic people arrived, and now they become popular in the pictures of Russians! Was so fun to see that body language and a smile can bring together people who don’t speak the same language, and also none of them are big “fans” of the English language like an intermediate language!

EN: The Fan Zone district was full of people watching the games, and was no restrictions on what team to support and enjoy if they won. Also, you have plenty of restaurants close so you can enjoy a meal and lots of stands for the beer, being so hot there a cold beer was the best way to cooling down :)))!

EN: The big day has come, and what a feeling!!! The streets full of supporters of both teams and Iceland get the locals’ support. I understand that the local football team has two Icelandic players! They give the most iconic “HI” to all, and to be in their life to listen and to be part of that gives you goosebumps ( I got them even now when I wrote)!

Fans of both teams walk together to the stadium singing, cheering up both in the most civilized way!

Am mers impreuna spre stadiu, fanii ambelor echipe, cantand si incurajand in cel mai civilizat mod!

EN: Like most of you know, the game didn’t have a happy ending for the Icelandic team, but the fans been extraordinary. They said “HI” again in minute 12 like they always do; even if on the field was an Icelandic player down, they continue to sing and encourage their team until the end! We have our seats in a neutral zone, but still, the people around us enjoyed the game and supported both teams equally!

The Goal!!!

by Ada@

EN: I hope many people will have the opportunity to go once, even you don’t know anything about football, to this major event to have fun, to meet new people, to hear stories and to write a story about your life goals! Hopely will not be once in a lifetime experience for me and to be able to see the next ones:)!

SOON a new post about the city Rostov on Don!

P.S I forgot to tell you that safety was a number one thing! The Fan Zone entrance was like an airport, and you were checked exceptionally well, so this was awesome!
